Schedule an app to run on a desired time on Windows OS

 
Sometimes it is necessary to run an app on a desired time and it would prove frustrating if you forget that.
Using an alarms for this is ok but it is a little bit unprofessional and cumbersome.


If you’re using Windows 10 OS then you can command Cortona to perform tasks as you want but what about others??? 
Others need not to worry about because there comes a Windows app for this purpose named — Schedule Tasks.
Being a versatile app it enables you to schedule a number of tasks once you learn to use it. Generally all the system processes that run in the background are scheduled to run by this app.



Using Schedule Tasks app you can schedule to run any app as you like.
Let us take an example of running IE (Internet Explorer) you can find it named as Microsoft Edge if you Windows 10 OS.
To begin with, first open the Schedule Tasks from your app lists or if you’re using Windows 8 search in the charms bar and for Windows 10 users directly search into the search bar present in the task bar. After you you’ve done with opening follow these steps. 
 
1.Click on Create task on the upper right corner as highlighted. After that a new window will appear.
 
2. Fill the name and descriptions and clock on trigger.
 
 
3. In Triggers sub menu click on New.... 
 
4. After that a new window will appear set start time, date and others as per your preferences then click Ok.
 
5. Click on Actions then New.
 
6. In the new window appeared click on browse...
 


Then click on Windows c drive icon then Program files (x86) and select the app you want to run you can even select scripts. Hope it's worth your requirement and now just go on wandering on TechX to learn much more such tricks.
